Julian Assange has been missing for a while now.  What do the Ecuadorian Embassy have to say about his whereabouts?  Why is the mainstream media so quiet?  Something surely is wrong with Assange.  Plenty of us really worry about his whereabouts and his well being.

More infusion of art in our lives

When we travel  we lament more the fact that there is so little good art in modern architecture.  Temples  or palaces were made with so much care and slowly. No one does that kind of stuff anymore. Instead of craftsmen the modern world must use artists more.  Would like to see more artistic bridges, airports, railway stations, and other public places. We need more art in our lives to take our minds off hate and divisions in modern society.

A great man dies. An era is gone. No matter what our differences this man stood for and with freedom a long long time. God bless his soul.

Syria is definitely a mess. I wonder whether a two state solution may be the way out.

American uprisings

The recent US administrations having supported the Arab Spring and other uprisings around the globe is now facing some on their own soil. Have not seen these kind of protests after an election in all my life. I think the new President will bring back some law and order America is famous for. Trump is mainly good for America. He may not be perfect but a lot of candidates who appeared perfect delivered so little. Why did Trump win with all his imperfections? The message is clear. The American public is tired of status quo. They want to try something different that might just work. I for one am surely optimistic. I am looking forward to seeing a very presidential Donald Trump.

Saudi Arabia and peace in the middle East

The key to peace in the middle east is Saudi Arabia. For a long time now Saudi Arabia has played the role of deal maker and peace maker in the region.

The way forward for Americans

The way forward today for America is the same as it was way back in the 2008 elections. A govt that genuinely seeks peace in the world and is respected because it fair and wants to do the right thing. Everyone still waits for this idea to register.
