The way forward for Americans

The way forward today for America is the same as it was way back in the 2008 elections. A govt that genuinely seeks peace in the world and is respected because it fair and wants to do the right thing. Everyone still waits for this idea to register.

2016 Elections and the many reasons for indecision

Donald Trump: Wants to deport people, wage war against muslims, and most importantly can be scary to women. Imagine Teresa May or Angela Merkel being called pig faced or worse. Hillary Clinton: Her email scandal is not that much scary in content but the way officials have to shut up about it is definitely scary. Feels like a dictatorship. Moreover poor Assange will be roasted if she wins. One wonders who can best handle the unfinished wars of yesteryears which America can simply not ignore if it wants to stay dominant or even relevant. No clear candidate emerges this elections. As we all know it will be a leap of faith, no matter who one votes for.

Mali, Sahara, and an uprising.

Mali was such a quiet and peaceful country. And suddenly some armed men returning from Libya want to separate from Mali and form their own country. They want to take over the resources of the Sahara and develop their own people. Without ever realizing that the whole of Mali is poor. If they wanted development they should think of the whole country. Patriotism is not present in people who stayed away all their lives and are back because they have no choice. Just because they have arms does not mean they know how to govern. It is kind of sad that the peaceful people of West Africa faced so much violence in recent years.

Isis and the final US presidential election debates

Donald Trump shed light on many issues like the growing global influence of Iran. It is clear the US policies have been extremely bad for Sunnis who are Saudi aligned. They have lost homes and lives. And yet he dos not seem to notice that the oil prices are the lowest it has ever been. So really, some of those policies are not complete failures as he may like to call it. Do not like the oil for blood bargain at all. Though, no one thought that a catastrophe of such scale would happen. Many mistakes have been made. Yet, I think Hillary might be the right person to the fix the problems.

What I make of Isis

What I make of Isis is that Isis is a bunch of mercenaries or people fighting for Sunni interests. And why is the world taking sides?

Of Regime changes, wounded people, and presidential candidates

To do nothing about Syria is easy - all that one has to say is that regime change has not worked. Let Russia deal with it. And what does Russia do? Bomb some more. Who do they bomb? Isis? Hard to believe the dying children we see each day have anything to do with Isis. To really do something about Syria we must be more honest about the situation instead of blame gaming. Isis will go away when the funds go away. Isis is really only a group of mercenaries fighting for money. Bombs will scare no one except bring more fighters. Saudi Arabia, Iran, and some other Gulf countries know how to keep peace in the region. Not so much Russia. Assad needs to go. Changing his regime will not make things worse. It is already hell. It is strange that people who put up so many pictures about Palestine suffering say nothing about Alleppo. They support Assad saying that regime change is a bad idea. Regime changes has brought about a lot of problems. The truth is that it was not so bad after all. A lot of dictators went away. Why are people fighting and killing each other? In Libya, people just randomly shoot at building. What do they want? It looks like a lot of confused people killing each other without a goal. And this lack of leadership and goals cannot be tackled by US or European military whose only role so far has been joining forces with some group and dropping bombs. I say step back and let people think. Make safe zones and let leadership emerge. Who can think when bombs are dropping on their heads?
